The brief
Manager-grade role on the financial-services audit floor. Owns 4 to 5 audit engagements per year (asset managers, mid-tier insurers, payment institutions). Reports to a partner.
Scope of the role
- · Owns 4–5 audit engagements per year, ranging GBP 80k–280k in fee.
- · Manages a team of 3–6 per engagement.
- · Direct counterparty to the audit committees and finance functions of the audited firms.
Must-haves
- · ACA fully qualified, 8+ years post-qualification.
- · Audit-side career — Big Four or top-10 UK firm.
- · Direct financial-services audit experience (asset management, insurance, or payment institutions).
- · UK right to work.
Nice-to-haves
- · FRC review experience.
- · Insurance-specific audit background (Solvency II, IFRS-17).
